About the Writer

Alana Shannon is a writer with a diverse range of creative works.

She is an English-Creative Writing major at the University of Colorado, Boulder, a major that has helped develop her into a versatile writer. From poetry and fiction to Op-Eds and interviews, Alana has dipped her toe in many different fields that this website debuts. 

At the beginning of her writing journey, she discovered a love for journaling, which gradually evolved into an interest in poetry. Being capable of crafting pieces of writing that influence others’ emotions to mimic the tone of a piece. Whether it be poetry or non-fiction work, her strong voice will not go unnoticed.
